What’s the role
As Software Engineer, you are responsible to proactively support in the designing, development, and implementing efficient & cost-effective technical solutions using .NET Core and Azure Platform.
Your further responsibilities include the following:
Build, design, and deploy solutions; update existing API functionalities (enhancements or bugfixes).
Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.
Validates the solutions end-to-end before any implementation; supports validation of design and early creation of test cases.
API specification and documentation should be produced in parallel to the design and implementation.
Presenting the changes to the Integration CoE and landscape managers during the Design review, Code review, Delivery Review and Pre-CAB/CAB meetings to receive required approvals.
Agility to work across multiple projects at once, looking for ways to enable collaboration and sharing of assets and templates to accelerate the overall backlog and avoid duplication of effort.
Able to build relationships and become a trusted partner to the developer community and work independently.
Comply with Information Risk Management (IRM) standards and procedures.
What we need from you
We are keen to hear from individuals who have 5-8 years of experience in software development with demonstrated relevant experience in .NET Core and Azure Platform.
Further requirements are as follows:
Proficient in .NET and .NET Core (Web, API, Windows, Services).
Expertise in Azure Platform Development (Serverless Computing, Azure Functions, Azure Services, Azure Storage, Logic Apps).
Knowledgeable in using Cloud Native CI/CD tools.
Expertise in Data Development (T-SQL /Oracle Pl/SQL /Azure Cosmos/ Azure SQL/ Mongo etc.)
Technical knowledge in using JavaScript, React for Front End Development, C++, Python, Golang and other programming frameworks is desirable.
Knowledge of other Cloud (AWS Lambda etc), and Integration (MuleSoft, Logic Apps, BizTalk etc) technologies is an advantage.
Deployment experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or Functions is a plus.
Demonstrated application of the best patterns & practices in the software development life cycle.
Adaptable to work in agile teams along with demonstrated application of the principles.
