JOB DUTIES: Lead all quality aspects of new product development. Influence the customer, the Sensata development team (Design, Process, Program Management, etc.), and the Sensata Manufacturing team. Achieve flawless execution of product development. Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Plan, implement, and manage compliance of manufacturing and production processes to meet internal and external safety, and quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Delivers design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Analyzes reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures. Develops methods for testing, sampling and training. Act as internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects. Work with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering and 2 years of experience driving quality and manufacturing improvements in the automotive industry. Experience must include: utilizing Failure Modes Effects and Analysis (FMEA) analysis and leading teams on the development of the Failure Modes Effects and Analysis (FMEA) tools; managing customer relationships throughout quality improvement project cycles; Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP); and leading projects and product development.
OTHER: Worksite: 6382 Rose Lane, Carpinteria, CA 93013; Authorized to work from a home office located within a reasonable commuting distance to the office located at 6382 Rose Lane, Carpinteria, CA 93013. 40 hours/week. Annual Salary: $107,122.68.
