Job Purpose
This is a regional leadership role leading the team responsible for Supply Chain Optimization and Project Management. This role is critical to drive supply chain optimization by identifying, defining, developing, and implementing end-to-end supply chain medium to long-term opportunities that create value for Shell Lubricants and better fulfill customer needs.
Principal Accountabilities
- Key member of the LSC CNHK Leadership Team, driving and supporting the overall business priorities for the region.
- Accountable for product lifecycle management to improve the portfolio healthiness, reduce tail stock value, deliver time-to-market to fulfill internal/external customer needs, and to get overall portfolio complexity under control. Engaging global PLM team to align priorities and directions.
- Accountable for cost optimization and lead the LSC Fit 4 program in the regional to deliver 2025 cost ultimate potential and to ensure cost saving reflected into lubricant products cost. Manage regional pipeline via good engagement and providing innovative ideas in re-formulation, networking optimization, competitive sourcing, and localization. Work in close collaboration with global supply chain team to align and deliver on key priorities.
- Manage a pipeline of tactical & strategic business model that will support China Lubricants growth ambitions. Accountable for developing and implementing the new business model with competitive end to end cost, good flexibility, and better supply security.
- Managing capex pipeline and deliveries to ensure capex investment aligned with growth ambitions with good return. Leveraging global/regional SMEs, to ensure technical assurance conducted with key risks under control.
- As regional Digital focal, set digital roadmap including items, value capability, engage global/regional stakeholders to align budget & resources, and motivate regional team to deliver.
- Managing regional excellence pipeline and operation production forum and maintenance forum to ensure supply chain efficiency got improved continuously and good practices are widely shared and adopted.
- Motivate, coach, and develop the regional supply chain team, by creating a strong culture to maximize integrated value for Shell and promoting principles of HSSE, quality, compliance.

Key Stakeholders (Internal/external)
- Internal - Weekly/Monthly interface with VP/ GMs of Lubes S&M, FN, GKA, Global Supply Chain BO, Additive contract management, GPMs, CP, IT.
- External – in most case together with CP for selected vendor engagements
What we need from you
- 10+ years of Supply Chain Management/Planning and/or Logistics/business experience
- Experience in leading a large and diverse community of Supply Chain professionals with varying degrees of competence and specializations.
- Excellent leadership skills to coach and develop the team to achieve business goals across different settings.
- Demonstrated high level of accountability for actions and decisions taken in line with the values of Honesty, Integrity and Respect for People.
- Proven track record in change management and ability to embed a culture of 'Can-Do', Continuous Improvement and Agile.
- Evidence of strong Collaboration and working across organizational boundaries to develop strategic alignments at regional and LOB level.
- Evidence of strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in managing expectation and in promoting ideas as organizational priorities.
- Evidence of customer centricity and the ability to make rapid trade off decisions that maximized Shell’s integrated value in an operational environment.
