As a QA Engineer, You would be joining an agile team, consisting of Software Engineering & QA engineers based in Vilnius and abroad. This team will be working on projects encompassing DBMS and related tools specifically in the NoSQL area.

The position is responsible for the design, implementation, and documentation of code automation. Works on problem analysis and exercises judgment based on situations and data. Productive relationships with senior internal and external contacts in their own area of expertise. Participates or leads the activities to closure independently and takes the necessary help/steps to complete.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures quality integration into all aspects of software development, data acquisition, and processing
Automates and improves existing tests and converts new tests to automated suites
Creates complete test plans based on design specifications and strategies
Independently develop test plans for relatively complex features
Can communicate within a team environment, consulting with development engineers in resolution of complex problems
Identifies test case candidates for automation. Designs and develops automated test case
Works closely with development teams to improve product quality and development methodologies related to quality engineering
Mentors others; mentors junior QA's
Recommend processes and procedures for continual improvement

Required Qualifications:

3+/5+ years of experience working on Software Quality and specifically with test automation frameworks in an Agile team environment.
Demonstrated competence in automation tools and using scripting or other languages
Has an advanced understanding of QA methodologies.
Ability to build test environments for functional, system, and stress testing
Min 2-3 years of work experience in manual and automated software testing.
Experience with problem-tracking systems and test case management systems
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to deal professionally and collaboratively with all levels of the organization and across geographies

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience using Jenkins
Experience using Git
Experience using Ansible
Python experience
Basic knowledge of Windows or Unix-like systems and Docker
Experience with Cloud or other Virtualized environments

Additional Information: The Position is remote within Lithuania's perimeter (the person has to be physically in Lithuania).

Annual salary range for this position is between €39,270.00 - €72,930.00 gross before taxes.

Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
