Software Engineering Manager - Cloud Security
In this role you will lead and manage a software engineering team, from planning to execution. The team’s focus is cloud security, from threat detection, to investigation tools and response capabilities.
About the Team
As part of the Cloud Security team, you will work with great and talented people in a dynamic and diverse environment, including various cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, cloud identity and more. The team focuses on securing cloud workloads across the entire application lifecycle chain, starting from CI/CD to runtime. The team has an end to end responsibility for the technology, capabilities, content, user experience and supporting production customers.
About the Role
In this role you will build your team of solution engineers from various domains, including cloud security research, backend, frontend and QA engineers. Later, lead and manage all engineering aspects for the team. The role requires your deep understanding and involvement in the team’s activities and features, not being afraid from pushing your hands into the mud when needed and taking part in hands-off tasks from time to time.

In this role, you will:
Lead and manage an engineering team
Lead the planning and execution of security features for cloud
Lead the development cycle and development practices
Lead cyber security research and building security content for various features
Work with product management on core features
Collaborate and work with other teams in other locations
Monitor system health and support production issues
Lead the team to excellence and develop individuals to achieve their professional goals
The skills you’ll bring include:
Independent, responsible, curious and creative, with the willing to learn and lead
4+ years of hands-on experience with software development
3+ years of experience with managing an engineering team
High proficiency with backend development
High proficiency with Python programming
Experience working with cloud environments - AWS/Azure/GCP
Prior experience working with runtime security products and defensive cloud security - Advantage
Hands-on experience with Containers - Advantage
B.Sc in Computer Science or Software Engineering from top universities
