This role will partner closely with Analytics, Data Strategy, Web Development, Design, Content, Digital Strategy, Growth, and stakeholders across Rapid7 to maintain and optimize our martech in support of our business goals and our enterprise techstack strategy. The person in this role will oversee the selection, implementation, and management of digital marketing technology solutions that support our omni-channel marketing efforts and drive business growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a Martech Specialist to join Rapid7’s Global Marketing Planning, Strategy and Operations team. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Operations, the Martech Specialist will manage all aspects of our martech strategy and operations.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and execution of the MarTech strategy, including the selection, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions based on business input and strategies from teams across marketing and sales.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of MarTech initiatives with broader business objectives.
Evaluate and assess the performance and efficiency of existing MarTech stack, recommend enhancements or changes as necessary.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new solutions when appropriate.
Partner closely with the Web Development, Digital Strategy, Design, and Content teams, as well as stakeholders across Marketing, to drive more effective technology usage, output, and integration.
Work closely with partners in IT to integrate systems, handle technology related challenges as a central source of truth for marketing.
Join weekly team prioritization and resourcing meetings and work with Agency Ops partners to ensure requirements are met, tasks are updated and accurate, and expectations are consistently and effectively communicated to project stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the in-house agency, staying up-to-date with industry trends & best practices in web content management, and optimizing our go-to-market process.
The skills you’ll bring include:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a marketing role with a focus on MarTech management, delivery and operations.
Managed implementation and enablement of new foundational stack systems and technology (DAM, CMS, CRM, etc).
Expertise in MarTech solutions and digital marketing best practices.
Proficient with various marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
A focus on building collaborative partnerships across Rapid7
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a high-performing team.
A sense of humor, flexibility, and adaptability with a continuous improvement mindset
Relevant certifications in MarTech or digital marketing are a plus.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to envision and execute long-term strategies in line with business objectives.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
Technologically Savvy: Strong understanding of current and emerging MarTech solutions.
