Manager, Website Strategy and Experience
About the Role
Rapid7 is seeking a Manager of Website Strategy and Experience to join Rapid7’s Global Marketing Planning, Strategy and Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting an exceptional digital journey for our customers, ensuring seamless user experiences across all digital touchpoints, and contributing to digital transformation efforts.
About the team
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Agency Operations, this role will manage all aspects of Rapid7’s website, partnering cross-functionally with the Web Development, Digital Strategy, Design, and Content teams, as well as stakeholders across Marketing, to drive website strategy and the delivery of website updates from intake to delivery to optimization.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development of the strategy for Rapid7’s website, with attention to driving conversions and optimizing for increased engagement and omnichannel experience.
Work with Marketing partners to build and drive the website updates roadmap, working seamlessly with Agency Ops partners to update tasks within our workflow system and ensure updates are made on time and on strategy within broader project plans.
Work with Analytics and Marketing partners to monitor site performance and user engagement, using insights to inform site optimization recommendations and updates.
Join weekly team prioritization and resourcing meetings and work with Agency Ops partners to ensure requirements are met, tasks are updated and accurate, and expectations are consistently and effectively communicated to project stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the in-house agency, staying up-to-date with industry trends & best practices in web content management, and optimizing our go-to-market process.
The skills you’ll bring include:
5+ years of direct experience as a B2B website manager, web content producer or related role, having managed or built sites for multiple countries or regions including the US and abroad
Helped other B2B brands/SAAS based organizations understand the value of the website with a proven track record of translating business priorities to an omnichannel experience
Experience with replatforming, rebranding and website optimization strategies for awareness and demand generation objectives
Proven ability to work with a lot of ambiguity and ability to manage various stakeholders with competing priorities
Fluency with content management systems (CMS), website performance and web analytics tools like Google Analytics
A strong understanding of SEO best practices
Proficiency in English but global perspective about languages, translations, and cultural impact
Proven ability to drive progress through ambiguity and matrixed organizations
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A proactive approach with excellent communication skills
A focus on building collaborative partnerships with Rapid7’s Web Development team, Agency Operations team, and stakeholders alike
A sense of humor, flexibility, and adaptability with a continuous improvement mindset
Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
Experience with building website infrastructure and omnichannel experience is a plus
