We are expanding our Global footprint into Prague and as we build out our IT teams, we are looking for an Application Support Technician to be responsible for provisioning access across multiple applications for our employees. You will be customer focussed, passionate about creating a great employee experience, be detail oriented and have an interest in learning the basics of CRM and ERM systems. About the Team

The IT Business Outcomes Management team is a Program Management Office (PMO) focused on the delivery of strategic, cross-functional projects & programs. The team focuses on the delivery of outcomes that support the Rapid7 mission by providing project & program leadership through a variety of project management methodologies. In addition to the management of business outcomes, the team is focused on standardizing & iterating on project artifacts & tools, identifying and aligning to the methodology that best supports a project, supporting the IT portfolio through roadmapping & metrics and motivating & empowering teams to achieve those outcomes.

About the Role

This Jira & Confluence application administrator will partner with many different teams across Rapid7 to identify opportunities to facilitate process optimization & knowledge management. With an emphasis on cross-department processes, this role will be key in designing a future state of how our teams work and document their work.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain Jira/Confluence design, configuration, workflow, and administration.

  • Coordinate and lead Jira/Confluence mandatory upgrades; design and implement overall testing strategy.

  • Act as technical support for advanced Jira & Confluence issues & requests

  • Perform daily system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

  • Assist with designing, implementing & testing new business processes, application modifications, and updates.

  • Contribute and maintain operational, configuration, and other operating protocols.

  • Responsible for maintaining proper security to protect confidential information.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce recurring work where practical and improve performance or reduce risk.

  • Responsible for being knowledgeable on the Atlassian roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features and understanding the impacts to the business processes and basic changes in functionality.

  • Participate in projects as needed.

  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

The Skills you will bring include:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience as an application administrator.

  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian’s suite of products, primarily Jira & Confluence.

  • Experience with migrating from Atlassian Server version to Cloud

  • Experience in high growth, fast paced environment

  • Ability to understand business processes and requirements

  • Prefer experience in an information technology environment

  • Experience with agile delivery methods

  • Support cross departmental operational initiatives with implementations, reporting, process improvement and user training.

  • Savvy, quick thinking and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
