IT Service Desk Intern - 2024 Placement Program
Rapid7 is seeking curious, resourceful, and motivated service experience interns to support our growing company. As a service experience intern, you will have the opportunity to be part of a community that is fanatical about security and on a mission to develop solutions to some of our customer’s most challenging problems.
In this role, you will:
Act as a single point of contact, recording necessary request information, triaging, and providing local and remote support to internal business partners globally
Onboard new hires following our global onboarding process with a great focus on new hire experience
Collaborate with extended teams on noteworthy projects
Contribute to our existing knowledge base
Configure, test and deploy workstations
Asset management and tracking
License management and account creation
Keep up to date with new processes, procedures, and releases
Successful candidates will be:
Currently enrolled in a BSc or MS degree in Computing Technology, Business in Information Technology, or related discipline displaying a strong academic record and seeking a 12 month placement opportunity
Knowledgeable of basic computer hardware, operating systems, active directory and networking (for example MacOS, Windows or Linux)
Passionate about technology, and able to learn quickly
Able to display strong interpersonal skills both within the team and cross functionally with a focus on building rapport and user experience
Results-oriented and collaborative; able to work independently as well as part of a team
Self motivated, highly organised and able to prioritise tasks

We are a hybrid working model at Rapid7 however, we encourage our students to be in the office as much as possible to help their development and building their network. Every team varies on working hours/model but you will be able to discuss this with your manager.
