Executive Assistant and Strategic Business Partner

In this role, you will:
Be a strategic and trusted partner, advisor, and sounding board to the Chief Customer Officer. Be the eyes and ears of Go To Customer (GTC) team health.
Lead and manage key initiatives and strategic projects across the GTC teams.
Improve efficiency of existing operations, meeting cadences, processes, and help define new operational strategies and procedures.
Research and provide content, background, and materials for leadership meetings. Prepare and edit presentations, spreadsheets, communications, and other documents.
Event plan. This includes venue/room block booking, meal planning, agendas, content preparation, and on-site coordination.
Provide guidance and recommendations across business, team, and organizational situations. Help facilitate action, communication, and culture.
Build cross-functional relationships between departments and rapport on behalf of the GTC leadership team across all levels of the organization.
Compose correspondence on behalf of the executives to be shared internally and externally. Examples: Email responses, RSVP’s, email to the company (holidays, current events, team change).
Quickly identify when and where you’re needed - and step in and step up to any task that will help the executive and their teams.
Perform high-volume email management (Inbox Zero), calendaring, travel planning, expense management.
Gain a solid understanding of the exec's objectives and goals to act as a proxy if needed for the executive; gather key takeaways, follow up on action items, and give feedback/make decisions when appropriate.
Act as a gatekeeper so the executive has time to be laser-focused on what matters most (growth, winning, strategy, culture, customer experience and key stakeholder relationships).
Ensure the company benefits from the exec’s leadership and experience by keeping the exec from getting bogged down in day-to-day correspondence, personnel duties, and other miscellaneous tasks.
Facilitate, drive, and project manage (agendas/content/notes/action items/follow up through completion) internal and external meetings, including but not limited to 1:1’s, weekly team meetings, all hands, small hands. Ensure the executive never goes into a meeting wondering what it is about or why they are there.
Make the executive’s work life easier, their reach larger, their impact greater, and their days shorter.
The skills you’ll bring include:
8+ years of experience supporting C-Level executives in a fast paced, innovative, environment.
You stay one step ahead, understand shifting priorities, and are able to roll up your sleeves and accomplish any task. A self-starter who knows when and how to act. You ask the right questions and aren’t afraid to speak up.
Ability to keep pace and partner with busy executives to ensure they are prepared regarding upcoming projects, upcoming commitments, and responsibilities, following up appropriately with minimal interaction to respect their time.
Project manager mindset. Can create, manage and deliver cross-functional initiatives in support of the GTC team.
An anchored customer service support outlook (executives, employees and key stakeholders being the customer).
Expert travel-booking skills and 24/7 calendaring.
Instinctive entrepreneurial mindset - ability to focus on strategy, growth, and winning. Able to exercise creativity, good judgment, and confidentiality.
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a great sense of humor.
Impeccable interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders, including employees and internal partners, etc.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
Demonstrated organizational skills, with a passion for creating organizational processes.
Bias toward problem solving - doesn’t wait to be directed.
Background in managing multiple teams across multiple geographic locations and time zones, in a remote working environment.
Travel as needed.
