Intro and job overview:

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 8-week program that begins June 10th and concludes August 2nd. This opportunity is 100% remote preferably located in eastern or central time zone. The Sales Engineer Intern will work closely with the presales team.

The Sales Engineer Intern will participate in Product Demo and Template updates, testing and feedback on step-by-step guides for product launches, observability Dashboard creation as well as participate in customer facing discovery and demo session meetings. The ideal candidate should also be exploring Sales Engineering as a career track.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Successfully rebrand and update product demo templates to Precisely branding.
  • Successful test and provide feedback on product step-by-step guides for a product launch.
  • Successfully help create observability dashboards.
  • As available, participate in customer facing discovery and demo session meetings.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Come from a technical program such as software engineering, data science, computer software, etc.
  • Strong communication skills - The key to being a great sales engineer is the ability to be strong technically, but also be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical roles in a clear and simple way.Excel and SQL experience
  • Dashboard solution skills such as Tableau, Grafana/Splunk or similar observability tools
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Critical thinking and analysis.
