2nd shift hours: 2:30pm-11:00pm
JOB DESCRIPTION: Machine Operators at Markforged are responsible for manufacturing the Filament and Fiber materials for our printer customers globally. The ideal candidate will have a passion to learn our production processes while adhering to world class quality and safety standards. Machine Operators report directly to their Shift Lead for direction and daily goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Include but are not limited to the following:
- Safety, wearing required PPE
- Running extrusion equipment
- Material processing/packaging
- Reporting issues/defects
- Updating progress via checklists and our SCADA system
THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE:
- Working overtime
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Use of pallet jack
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Extrusion processes
- Past OSHA certifications
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with Google Sheets and Docs
