Operations Finance Manager

We are looking to add to our Finance and Accounting Team and are hiring a Principal Operations Finance Manager.
What will you own?
- Create and maintain operational financial metrics and provide financial reporting related to demand planning, supply chain, manufacturing, finished goods, outsourced manufacturing, third-party and reverse logistics
- Manage costing process and management reporting for in-house and third party manufacturing facilities
- Manage manufacturing overhead and material burden rate calculations and updates, cost estimates and cost analyses, PPV etc.
- Manage warranty and repair accounting, including monthly accruals and reconciliations
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Monitor, measure and refine KPIs, metrics and operational performance
- Plan and execute periodic physical inventory counts at primary and third-party facilities, facilitating third party audit observations
- Assist with the coordination and deliverables for quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by internal and external auditors
- Key Team Member and/or Lead on cross-functional projects and process enhancements

What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, through either cost accounting or FP&A; exposure to contract manufacturing relationships and workflows preferred
- Thorough understanding of standard cost accounting principles including capitalization of variances, E&O reserves, and experience with standard cost analysis
- Self-motivated to get to the bottom of problems and propose solutions
- Effective at communicating complex topics with an unfamiliar audience
- Strong Excel skills, including clear and concise cost-model building
- Deep accounting knowledge and ability to think critically about GAAP-related issues
- Proven experience building strong relationships with senior management, external providers, business partners etc.
