The Quality Development Engineer works to improve the quality of our medical device certified healthcare information system (TrakCare) through the implementation of ISO 13485 quality processes, contributing to product design, testing and the overall stability of the Italian Edition of TrakCare.
Key Responsibilities
Essential
- Participate in the regional quality process, partnering with local Product Management and Development to ensure high quality deliverables
- Design, implement, and run tests for our healthcare products.
- Create automated regression test scripts using InterSystems UI workflow recorder
- Create descriptive and accurate bug reports and verify fixed bugs
- Support the continuous improvement of quality best practices
- Create reports on the progress of tests performed, automated, adjusted, compared to the project plan
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Familiarity with complex software environment as a user
- Testing experience in a software setting
- Experience in system engineering and complex software quality assurance
- Being able to collaborate with different internal stakeholders: product specialists, developers, clinicals, quality development peers.
- Strong attention to details and analytical thinking.
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare environments
- Significant exposure to healthcare information systems, preferably as a “super user”
- Exposure to InterSystems TrakCare
- Experience in software development
- Experience with automation tool such as Selenium, Cypress.
- Familiar with Javascript, HTML, Unix Shell, Python and SQL basics.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
Education & Training
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sciences or equivalent experience.
