Technical Online Course Developer

As a Technical Online Course Developer, you will enable customers and partners to succeed through technical learning materials that you create. You will interface with colleagues throughout the company to design content and then work with a smart, collaborative, and supportive team to create engaging high-quality videos, exercises, and courses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts around the world to identify customer needs
• Identify learning objectives to be achieved by the target audience

• Determine appropriate content type (video, exercise, course, and more) and design engaging online videos, exercises, courses
• Collaborate with the team on improving standards, improving the efficiency of content creation
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials, and update existing materials, as needed
• Collaborate with the Visual Media Production team, as they create learning resources based on your storyboards

Qualifications

• Mixture of strong technical and communication/interpersonal skills
• Desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, within a team, and cross-organizationally to design instructional material
• Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Engineering/computer science background OR healthcare background

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in instructional design/online course development
• Familiarity with hospital procedures, standard working practices, and structure languages
• Knowledge of healthcare data formats such as HL7, FHIR, and CDA or programming languages such Java, C++, or Python

Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics or related field
