DESCRIPTION
The Blink/Ring ASIC team builds differentiated silicon for security cameras, doorbells and floodlight cameras. Our silicon is optimized for long battery life and delivering world class features optimized for our use cases. The ASIC team is fast moving and serves multiple internal customers.
Key job responsibilities
Work with the ASIC Design and Validation teams to support internal Blink and Ring products. You will be responsible for:
- Understanding the ASICs and the test environment
- Able to reproduce product / system issues in a lab environment
- Be able to lead debug experiments with diverse product teams
- Take ownership of documentation that goes to product teams (reference guides, design guides, etc)
- Be able to drive innovation into ASICs through understanding product needs and use cases

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Programming + 7 years or Masters + 5 years
- Experience in field or general applications engineering - working with customers
- Strong writing and communications skills
- Well versed in C/C++ and a scripting language (Python, Perl or TCL)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Verilog
- Experience in test automation processes
- Strong debug skills and system level awareness
