As the leader in cyber risk management, we are looking for an Account Manager to grow relationships, retain, and expand our cyber insurance customers. Bitsight’s Cyber Insurance Business Unit (BU) provides cyber insurance carriers, brokers and reinsurers with data, analytics and workflows to make strong underwriting decisions, manage exposure in their portfolios, and reduce accumulation and other risks. The cyber insurance market has exploded in recent years, and Bitsight is helping insurance companies grow their businesses with predictability, reduced risk while providing a valuable service to their customers.
The Account Manager is responsible for achieving renewal and expansion goals within a set of customer accounts. The Account Manager works closely with customers, the customer success and support teams, as well as the product management team.
The Account Manager is responsible for customer retention with emphasis on increasing the annual contract value for each customer within your assigned customer base. We currently have over 3000 customers worldwide and are proud to call some of the world’s largest organizations customers of our platform. You will be tasked with developing customer relationships, helping them realize value from Bitsight’s solutions, driving revenue, solving complex problems, and fostering relationships with thought leaders and executives within your assigned insurers.
Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize client retention, increase annual contract value, and adoption of BitSight products and services
Provide actionable feedback to the BU leader and product management team on the evolution of trends and the changing requirements in the insurance industry
Establish and build C-Level relationships within designated clients
Accurately forecast all deals monthly / quarterly to leadership
Articulate the business and technical value of BitSight’s insurance offerings
Act as an advisor to the customer with the goal of expanding BitSight’s footprint within the account
Work cross-functionally with Customer Success to define and drive execution of action plans to improve and/or optimize the use of BitSight products and services
Maintain current and accurate account and contact information within CRM for all accounts that have been contacted.
Bachelor’s Degree required -- preferably in a business discipline
Must have strong territory and contact management skills
Must have strong consultative and solution selling skills
Must have a strong track record of quota attainment
Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be highly organized and capable of managing a high volume of accounts/transaction
Must have high energy level, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, experience in cyber insurance is an even bigger plus

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US$120,000 to $140,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant. Bitsight also offers a competitive benefits package, including but not but limited to medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement.
